I’ve written about this secondary dwelling unit in Oakland before. About a month ago I posted on the progress. This past week I stopped by again to check on the progress.
Since the last time I was there, they have started on the underlayment for the green roof assembly, and been working on the rough electrical and plumbing. While it may look much the same from last month, actually, a lot of work had gone into it.
The next major step in the construction of this project will happen the last week of June and the first week of July:
The windows and doors are coming!
Once those are installed, then the builder can start to work on the exterior cladding.
