Transforming problem houses into Dream Homes

Talking About The ADA and Universal Design

It has been a couple of weeks since I was able to post anything here. I’ve been busy working on projects for my clients. But this past week saw a very important milestone, 25 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law. 25 years is a long time, but there is still so much work to do.

Here is a short (less than 4-1/2 minute) audio blog post talking about the Americans with Disabilities Act, also known as the ADA, and “universal design”.

I am aware of the irony posting about the ADA in an audio post which the deaf cannot hear. But any way I posted this information, some group of people would have been left out. If you are deaf, feel free to contact me at dslocicero (at) gmail (dot) com and I will be happy to email you a transcript of the talk.
