Transforming problem houses into Dream Homes

Why A Rolls?

I recently fulfilled a childhood dream: I am now the owner of a Rolls-Royce; a 1986 Silver Spur.

These cars are ostentatious, pretentious, bougie, and more than a little bit classist. But they are stunningly beautiful, astoundingly well crafted, hand built from the finest materials, the ultimate in luxury.

It may have cost as much as a typical house when it was new, but now older Rolls can be had for just pennies on the dollar when compared to their original purchase price.

Why do I share this? Because I think it is indicative of what my clients want: they want a house that makes them feel rich, and pampered, but they don’t want to break the bank to do it. That’s what this car does for me.

By “thinking outside of the box”, I was able to get a ridiculously luxurious automobile for not much money. I try to get those same results for my clients. Because “luxury” isn’t always about gold, and marble, but about connection to the outdoors, about easy relationships between spaces, about kitchens that work for the way my clients cook and entertain. That’s luxury.

Cheers,

David
