It is that time of year. The trees are dropping their leaves. There is a crispness in the air. Mountains of enormous turkeys have appeared in the grocery stores. Pumpkin spice has permeated almost every food group.
Yup. It is Thanksgiving week!
I want to take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to all of clients, and to all of the consultants and contractors with whom I have worked this year, as well as to my family and friends. You have all helped ensure the success of the projects completed this year, and the continuing success of the projects that are in progress now. I couldn’t do what I do without you all.
Architecture is not a solo activity. It takes a team of people to take a project from idea through to completion. Working with clients, consultants, and contractors on a daily basis is one of the many things that an architect does. I am grateful for the efforts and good work of all these people’s contributions to the projects in my office.
My office will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday. I will also have only limited access to email and phone next week, as I’ll be traveling.
I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!
