October is National Architecture Month, also known in some circles as Archtober. To commemorate the month, I am going to post a brief post every day of the month.
Historically, the way we build is determined by the technology available at the time.
While technology is having some impact on the way we build now, I’m not convinced it is being well used.
There are many architects who want to build houses and truck them to sites, nearly finished.
I prefer to think that we can continue to assemble our buildings on site, from parts shipped to the site.
Why try to ship a building? It is so much easier to ship the parts.
