I was flipping through my sketch books looking for something, and found this page. I paused to look at it. I don’t recall sketching these ideas out. Given the title of the page, I was clearly just getting an idea out of my head and on to paper. Some times an idea gets into an architect’s head and there is just nothing to do but draw it out.
This is a design for a single family home based, by the looks of it, on a San Francisco standard site 25′ x 100′. I like the clarity of the organization. I like the mid-century modern take on the elevations.
If anybody wants to build a new 3-bedroom house in SF and you have a site, maybe this would work for you. Give me a call. Let’s do it!
