We opened up and modernized a top floor flat for a family of four. We relocated the Living Room to the back of the building adjacent to the existing Kitchen creating a Great Room overlooking the back yard. We relocated the parent’s Bed Room to front of the building. Closets and storage were tucked in wherever possible. In the Great Room and the Parent’s Room, we opened up the ceiling to the underside of the roof to provide a sense of greater space. The Great Room also features a fire place inglenook with a lower ceiling.
