This project was to update and modernize a mid-century Kitchen for an enthusiastic and accomplished amateur cook. The owner wanted more storage and the ability to participate in conversations in the Family Room. We relocated the stove to a center island. The pantry and ovens went against one short wall. The refrigerator went against the opposite wall. The sink and dish washer stayed in their original locations. We worked with the existing skylight and odd ceiling pitch.
